| Penso che i film horror racchiudano il maggior concentrato di stereotipi! I tipi, il plot, le dinamiche... Tutto è sempre uguale. Lo dice un po' anche Cabin in the Woods, tutto sommato. Sono gli archetipi di genere.
Pure la final girl, con quell'aria virginale (ma di una che te la racconta "in moltissimi modi" direbbe Nicolas Cage). Forse dipende dalla sua virtù (sì, va beh)? Forse c'è un po' di retorica del buono/cattivo? Non sono esperta di horror, ma tutte queste final girl sembrano somigliarsi. Non ingenue, ma pure di cuore, sono moralmente impeccabili nel ruolo di sopravvissute/vendicatrici.
Ma non sarà che gli horror sono, sotto sotto, film con la morale?

| | Ne avevo letto talmente male che ho tardato anche io a vederlo. Invece, complessivamente, mi è piaciuto. Sì, non è una cosa per cui strapparsi i capelli, ma ha il suo perché. Forse è più affascinante l'idea della scrittura di Cormac McCarthy che la radunata di star. Ci sono dei bei monologhi. Forse manca il mordente cinematografico... |

| | Infatti il problema è proprio il ricambio. In generale le uscite di scena dei personaggi dovrebbero essere programmate, secondo me, non improvvisate. E bisognerebbe inserire personaggi interessanti per sostituire quelli in uscita. Qui, però, non c'è stato alcun ricambio. Anche i "rinforzi" in corsa non hanno avuto esito felice. Insomma, alla fine l'unico personaggio riuscito dei "nuovi", diciamo così, è Avery. |

| Povero Shyamalan, come regista secondo me ha il suo perché, ma proprio ha infilato una serie di film disastrosi negli ultimi anni...
Spero che almeno la tv possa segnare il suo ritorno. Sembra interessante, in ogni caso. |
