A parte poi il trascurabile Oscar a Rachel Weisz e il fatto che non abbia vinto Joaquin Phoenix (che in Walk the line è stupendo!), ieri sera mentre caricavo la scheda notavo l'Oscar alla migliore canzone... It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp

Brokeback mountain non mi ha entusiasmata, in tutta onestà, ma un pensierino sui due protagonisti l'Academy poteva farcelo. George Clooney in Syriana non mi è parso questa gran cosa e il suo Oscar era chiaramente un premio a Good night and good luck. Gli altri candidati nella categoria mi sono piaciuti tutti molto ma molto di più!
E per quanto bravo, anche Seymour Hoffman non mi è parso più bravo di Heath Ledger, che offre una chiave interpretativa del tutto originale e bellissima. Ma qui sarò di parte perché per me il migliore era Joaquin Phoenix!
Tra i film, dovendo scegliere tra i candidati avrei forse votato Munich. Ma i miei favoriti sono stati allegramente ignorati, come spesso accade.
A history of violence, Walk the line, Infamous, Cinderella man, Il nuovo mondo...
Per chi non ha avuto il piacere (dubbio) di ascoltare la "canzone del pappone", ecco la performance dei 3-6 Mafia agli Oscar (e relativa assegnazione del premio)

Mamma mia! Che poi la trovo pure brutta come canzone, con un finale orribile... mah...
Anch'io non ho trovato Brokeback mountain particolarmente entusiasmante, ma la stessa cosa posso dirla di Munich e Crash. Good Night and good luck e Truman Capote invece non li ho ancora visti. Ma come cinquina non mi pare niente di che.

C'era anche Proof, e In her shoes. Non film da Oscar, ma un'occhiatina alla performance l'avrebbero forse meritata.
Se si scorre l'elenco dei film di ogni anno ci si rende conto di quanti bei film l'Academy manca di considerare.... -

personalmente amo brokeback, ma film come a history of violence, v per vendetta, match point, cinderella man sono superiori a crash e anche a munich (mai amato, anzi) . .
